Carefully aged in Nadalie oak barrels, the finest in Bordeaux, this wine has a spicy, grilled aroma, licorice herbal notes, velvety smooth tannins, and long aromas of herbs and morello cherry aromas.

This wine received 91 points from world-renowned wine critic Robert Parker.
The alcohol is strong, but the wine is gentle and pleasant. A unique wine that epitomizes the South of France. Although it was born in Spain and later produced in Provence via the Rhone region, Matarou has a character all its own.
